I certai...This is really beautiful work you found. I certainly think it is possible to treat the paper as a manipulated surface that varies very slightly. Using points of reference, such as a grid, in order to communicate the subtle degree of modulation is a method you could use in your own proposals. Can the paper deflect in such a way that allows both for curvature and pleating as in some of the work above? I think it is great that you are looking at such methodical approaches for inspiration.
