Serpentine Gallery Pavilion 2002 by Toyo Ito and Cecil Balmond

In 2002 Toyo Ito and Cecil Balmond designed the pavilion for the Serpentine Gallery in London.  It was a study of a box as it expand and rotated in that one spot.  This created intersecting line thought out the whole structure which let the eyes flow. these line also created triangles and trapezoids  shapes that are either transparent or translucent which gave them a infinitely repeating feeling.  this space would probably be very different to be in or walk thought depending on the day because of the of the shadows do to  the different cut outs.
