By adding holes and curves along the top of the wall, I could add the potential for kids and adults to see the other side of the wall and/or each other. This could also provide those who are seated on the bench something more interesting to look at.
By cutting the back of the bench, a child could sit with adults at, or close to, eye level. This would treat sitting and walking the same way, by bringing adults and children to the same level.
