Progress Sketches

Hi,

So some changes I made here in my sketches was improvements to the bench and arch, thought on how the light comes in, and introducing a new material.



 I created the bench with an indent so you can sit on three sides of the arch. I also gave the arch a drop shape to give the hallway more character. The second main idea I had was controlling the light. By drying plaster over a balloon an opaque effect is created where light can trickle through. The last main idea I had was adding a new material. I took corks and split them in half and poured plaster over them. The result was a porous  half circle stone shape. I think they will go under the arches to create some sort of path. and sitting area.
