Designing with models

My scheme involves a 120 foot compass leaning against the structure west of the site. The concept of course is circularity? Circulation.

Seriously though, building a more detailed model is helping me visualize scale better than I thought it would. It is a little shocking how small the art is in relation to the site. My scale was correct on my drawings but the model emphasizes this.
