That one drawing Chris showed us on Thursday reminded me of this map drawing Kevin Lynch produced of Boston. Do you recognize some of the areas represented here? Notice his use of unconventional notational systems. Kevin Lynch is known for his book The Image of the City (1960) which addresses the way in which people experience their urban environments and the resulting process of mental mapping that occurs.
